CERTIFICATION: Our fabric is premium quality and made with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, that includes social and comprehensive ecological criteria.

PROCESS: Tiny Twig prides itself on innovative design for organic cotton baby clothing that is finally realised through a tough but established production process. Armed with GOTS certification at EACH step, we are proud that Tiny Twig is beneficial both locally and globally. And we are happy to share our yearly certification information!

DYEING: Tiny Twig uses an automatic dyeing process and only GOTS-certified dyes. These dyes are non-toxic, sustainable, and dramatically reduce our carbon footprint!

SAFETY: Tiny Twig has the baby’s safety as its highest priority. Every garment must and does pass the Needle Test before leaving our premises. After garment production, 3rd party agencies inspect every piece to ensure GOTS compliance. They test the flammability of fabrics and check for harmful chemicals in the prints and dyes. Additionally, Pull and Tensile Strength checks are performed on all accessories of the garments. Other tests include the detection of any small parts and sharp objects. Every garment MUST PASS each check before leaving our premises!

BUTTONING: Only high-quality, eco-friendly coconut shell buttons and YKK snap fasteners are used in our garments. Extreme care is taken to attach them securely to ensure baby’s safety.

WASH & CARE: Our prewashed and pre-shrunk clothes are easy to care for! The colour and vibrancy remains intact for a long time, if following instructions are followed – • Hand wash (do not wring) or machine wash cold with similar colours and NO bleach • Hang dry in shade or use low heat and tumble dry in dryer • Warm iron, if needed • Do not dry clean

Why Tiny Twig?

Tiny twig clothes are made of super soft organic cotton that is certified
for its organic standards and sustainability.

Our Family Shares

Why should I choose organic cotton?
Organic cotton is the only sustainable option for infants and young children, and ultimately for all of us. Conventional cotton is grown with thousands of chemicals, many of which are known carcinogens, that can harm human skin. These toxic chemicals also damage the quality of our soil and contaminate our water sources. Cotton that is grown without the use of synthetic chemicals and genetically modified seeds is labelled as organic cotton. Such cotton cultivation is also healthy for the soil as it replenishes nutrients and establishes a natural, healthy microbial balance. Hence for the safety of our babies and the environment, we must all turn to organic cotton!
Why is Tiny Twig better?
Tiny Twig clothes are made of super-soft organic cotton that is GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) at every stage, for its organic standards and sustainability. And we only apply thoroughly vetted, non-toxic dyes onto our 100% organic cotton fabrics. Our company’s goal is to offer absolutely toxin-free, safe clothes while mitigating the usage of harmful chemicals on our soil and water bodies. At Tiny Twig, our designers work on classic patterns and also creative, contemporary outfits with smart designs that are super comfortable for babies and also ultra-convenient to parents to dress their children. A certified and real win-win for the earth, parents and babies.
What size should I buy for my baby?
Please refer to our size chart here If you still need help, contact us
How do I know if I have indeed purchased organic cotton?
Companies should have records that show their current organic certification, such as from GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), an organization that oversees and certifies organic cotton at each stage from farm to finish. These organic labels can be found stitched or printed on your garments.
How do I care for organic baby clothing? Do I need to use organic detergent to wash them?
Tiny Twig clothing, like other 100% organic cotton clothing, can be hand washed or machine washed on gentle cycles. We recommend hang-drying or non-heat cycles in your dryer. No bleach, as it may fade the garment or even weaken the cotton fibres. Read the care tag on our garments to know more. Although it would be best to use organic detergent (gentle to fabric, colours and the environment), one can use regular, mild detergent like the type used to wash silks or wool.
What colours or dyes are used at Tiny Twig?
Our vibrant and rich colours are non-toxic and azo-free that do not release carcinogenic chemicals. These dyes are safe for babies’ tender, growing skin and also safe for persons handling the colours. Azo-free dyes are safe for wildlife and water bodies as well!
Why is organic cotton more expensive?
Conventional cotton is cheaper because the real costs are borne by the poorly-paid farmers, and the reckless use of the environment. When these are corrected with fair wages and by being conscientious about how and what is released as wastewater and other effluents, organic cotton production appears more expensive, but it is more appropriate to call it a true cost. Also fixing our health and rescuing our environment costs us far more in the longer run!
